Nice to get back to normality again after all the excitement of the festive season. We had a very busy December and did a few private events as well as performing at the Castle. We also had a wonderful family reunion at the magnificent Wineport Lodge with all the Griffin family gathering, my cousin John Crowe even flew in from London for the day. What a fantastic and memorable day. Some photos below for you to enjoy. Christmas and New Year at Ashford Castle was beautiful. Great to see so many of our regular guests returning to the Castle. The place looked amazing. I was also involved with church singing in my local church Ballymoe and it was lovely to sing Christmas Day mass at Divine Word Missionaries at Donamon Castle in Roscommon Ireland. Joining me was my talented partner John Staunton on guitar and vocals. Mum also joined us on organ. Ashford Castle is now closed for a few months for phase two of our refurbishment. John and I are looking forward to meeting you all at our annual "Medjugorje"reunion at the "Castlecourt Hotel" Westport on Jan. 25th . We look forward to entertaining you with some music and songs.
